A customer recently shared these installation progress photos of their Rothwell Door Canopy assembly.

Whilst these images are intended as a visual aid only, they provide a very useful overview of how our duo-pitch canopies come together during installation.

STEP ONE

Fix Rear Gables - These rear gables come with pre-drilled holes and have removable cover panels. Gables are bolted to the wall using 60mm coach screws. Socket tool provided in fittings & fixtures pack.

(Tip: Use a spirit level to ensure the rear gables sit straight. Mark the position before securing the bolts.)

STEP 2

Ridge Beam - Bolt together two parts of the ridge beam (all fittings and fixtures provided) then slide beam over the tongue of the rear gable.

(Tip: Loosely assemble nuts and bolts first, once each fixing has located it's thread, fully tighten ridge beam into position)

STEP 3

Front Gables & Eaves Beams - Push eaves into place. Please ensure eaves beam covers are facing inwards, with the ridge along the top and metal inserts on the underside. Fix cover plates on front gables with the small plastic pegs provided.

STEP 4

Side Support Gables & Support Brackets - Ensure cover panels on the support gables are on the 'outside' of the canopy. Fix support gable and bracket to the eaves beams.

Tip: Fix the support gable & side support bracket together before fixing to the eaves beam. The side section (bracket and gable arm) can be fixed on the ground then lifted and screwed into place.

STEP 5

Ceiling Panels, Roof & Ridge Tiles - using the lugs as locators join three white ceiling panels together. Place the section into the frame from the top, drill pilot holes into rear and front gables and use short screws to fix into place.

Tip: Make sure when you link the three ceiling panels, that the correct edge is at the top and bottom of the section - lugs run parallel with ridge beam as shown below.

(These photos are intended as a visual aid only, supporting our in depth step-by-step instructions included in your canopy box. Some installation stages are not shown in full here, it is simply a reference tool to help you along.

Even though this is a Rothwell Door Canopy, many of the assembly stages shown are similar across our range - including Althorp, Rockingham, and other duo-pitched styles. We hope these customer installation photos provide a useful overview of the Rothwell Canopy assembly process.)

Official Instructions are supplied with every product, however you can also download them here
